As every week, the congregation met virtually last Wednesday, March 3, 2021, to participate in a new edition of the film forum. On this occasion, the film discussed was The Pianist, by Roman Polanski, available on Netflix.
Synopsis:
Wladyslaw Szpilman, a brilliant Polish pianist of Jewish origin, lives with his family in the ghetto in Warsaw. When the Germans invade Poland in 1939, he manages to avoid deportation thanks to the help of some friends. But he will have to live hidden and completely isolated for a long time, and to survive he will have to face constant dangers.
