Noar
Focused on youth
Noar
Noar Panama is the youth organization of Kol Shearith Israel, founded on April 1, 2006. It is affiliated with Netzer Mundial (Noar Tzioni Reformi). Every Saturday during the school year, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., it conducts activities for young people from 4 to 16 years old.
The style of education used is not formal; that is, there are no books or homework, but rather experiences such as games, activities and camps. These teach universal and communal values, such as fellowship, honesty, social responsibility and respect, and general knowledge about Judaism and Israel.
An average of 70 children participate weekly. They are headed by a coordinator and 11 madrijim, who plan the activities that contribute to the formation of good people. Noar’s goal is to build a solid foundation for the growth and continuity of Kol Shearith Israel’s youth. It is the vehicle through which our children and youth are formed as correct, critical and thinking people, and thus prepare themselves to be the future leaders of our congregation.
