Last Wednesday, August 25, 2021, the KSI community gathered virtually to participate in the week’s film forum on All About Eve, the 1950 winner of six Oscars, including Best Picture, Director and Screenplay.
Synopsis:
Young Eva (Anne Baxter), who aspires to become an actress and succeed on the stage, manages to get into a group of theater actors and become a friend and confidant of the famous veteran actress Margo Channing (Bette Davis), the grand dame of the New York stage.
The desire to act and jealousy consume her to the point that she begins to betray her peers in her climb to success. She flatters, attracts, seduces, but also tramples on everyone who crosses her path: writers, directors, producers. Only a clever theater critic begins to guess what is hidden behind her sweet appearance; only he is able to see Eva in the nude.
