Last Wednesday, July 7, 2021, the KSI community gathered virtually to participate in the week’s film forum about the movie The Time that Remains.
Synopsis:
Semi-biographical film, divided into four historical episodes, which tells the story of a Palestinian family from 1948 to the present day. The film is inspired by the father’s diaries, starting from when he was a resistance fighter in 1948, and the mother’s letters to relatives who were forced or decided to leave the country since then. Combined with the narrator’s memories of them and with them, the film attempts to portray the daily life of those Palestinians who were labeled as Arab-Isralis, living as a minority in the new State of Israel.
