Last Wednesday, December 15, the KSI community gathered virtually to discuss the film Capernaum.
Synopsis:
Capernaum is a 2018 Lebanese film written and directed by Nadine Labaki. It tells the story of Zain, a 12-year-old boy. Zain testifies before the international court of his country; the reason: the little boy has sued his parents. When the judge asks him why this strange demand, the boy answers: “for giving me life”.
It was selected to compete for the prestigious Palme d’Or at the 2018 Cannes International Film Festival, where it won the Jury Prize.
