Last Wednesday, October 20, a group from the KSI community met in person to discuss the Israeli film Keeping Up With the Steins, as part of the weekly editions of the film forum.
During the evening, members shared their views on the film in a convivial sharing over refreshments and drinks.
Synopsis:
Benjamin Fiedler (Daryl Sabara) is a 13-year-old boy about to come of age as a Jew. His father, Adam (Jeremy Piven), a powerful Hollywood agent, is throwing him a big party, and is also pressuring him to grow up. Benjamin is overwhelmed and doesn’t understand the meaning of the party or the religion itself. So he calls his grandfather Irwin (Garry Marshall), with whom his father does not have a good relationship. Benjamin will try to reconcile them.
The next film forum will be held virtually on Wednesday, October 27, and will be about the film Incitement.
