Rabbi Gustavo Kraselnik, accompanied by Alan Perelis, president of the Panamanian Jewish Congress, and Tania de Levy, representing the Board of Directors of the congregation, visited the Archbishop of Panama, José Domingo Ulloa, on September 2, 2021, on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah.
Rabbi Gustavo Shofar started the greeting to Archbishop Ulloa, followed by the words of good wishes “for a year of health, wellbeing and peace here in Panama and around the world, that we may continue building together the yearning for a world that reflects the presence of God”.
Monsignor Ulloa also wished him a happy new year from the Catholic community, adding that “the greatest thing we have is the same root. You are our elder brothers, and may this relationship be strengthened”.
Finally, Monsignor Ulloa said: “May the God of all creation continue to bless and unite us, strengthening us in what unites us, which is our love for one another, recognizing that we are children of the same Father, recognizing that we are brothers and sisters”.
