Last Wednesday, September 1, the KSI community met virtually to discuss the 2001 Italian film, Unfair Competition.
Synopsis:
Umberto is the owner of an elegant tailor’s shop, but he is losing customers due to competition from Leone, a Jewish tailor. Professional rivalry is conducive to all kinds of strategies and dirty tricks. However, their young children go to school together and their older children are sweethearts. This situation will change when, in 1938, the Italian government passes racial laws against Jews.
The next film forum will be held on Thursday, September 9, at 7:00 p.m. It will be about the film Annie Hall, winner of the 1978 Oscar in the categories of Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Leading Actress.
