Last Monday, August 16, 2021, the Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., of the Embassy of the United States in Panama, Stewart D. Tuttle, convened a meeting with the leaders of the faith communities of our country to discuss religious freedom.
The meeting was attended by members of the Interreligious Committee and the Ecumenical Committee of Panama. For our part, we were represented by the presence of Rabbi Gustavo Kraselnik; the president of the Board of Directors of KSI, Joshua Henriquez, and the president of the Panamanian Jewish Congress, Alan Perelis.
The conversation addressed various issues that are part of the life of faith-based organizations in our country and discussed ways of collaboration between the embassy and faith-based organizations.
