Last Wednesday, May 26, 2021, the KSI community gathered virtually to participate in the week’s film forum on the Oscar-nominated film, Witness for the Prosecution.
Synopsis:
Leonard Vole (Tyrone Power), a young and attractive man, is accused of the murder of Mrs. French, a wealthy elderly woman with whom he had a friendly relationship. The alleged motive for the crime was the possibility of inheriting the deceased’s estate. Although the evidence against him is overwhelming, Sir Wilfrid Roberts (Charles Laughton), a prestigious London criminal lawyer, takes on his defense.
