As every week, the congregation met virtually last Wednesday, April 21, 2021, to participate in a new edition of the film forum. On this occasion we discussed the Lebanese film The Attack.
Synopsis:
Amin Jaafari, an Israeli surgeon of Palestinian origin, is fully integrated into Tel Aviv society. He has a happy marriage, a brilliant career and numerous Jewish friends. When a suicide attack in a restaurant leaves 19 people dead, the Israeli police tell him that his wife, who was also killed in the explosion, was behind the attack.
Next week’s cine-forum will take place on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, and will be on the French film J’accuse.
