As every 4th of Iyar, we celebrate Yom Haaztmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, which this year celebrates its 73rd anniversary.
On this occasion, the event took place in the parking lot of our community center, where more than 100 members gathered to celebrate to the rhythm of rikudim.
The activity, enlivened by the Noar madrichim , included several stations with fun games for all ages.
For their part, members of the KSI Sisterhood delighted members’ palates with delicious falafel sandwiches made by Sandra Mordok’s De la Cocina de Sandra.
To conclude the evening, the members sang the Israeli anthem, Hatikva, in unison.
