In recent days, the new Israeli ambassador-designate to Panama, Itai Bardov, held a pleasant meeting with leaders of the Panamanian Jewish community, including Joshua Henriquez, president of the board of directors of KSI, Alan Perelis, president of the Panamanian Jewish Congress (CJP) and Nessim David Bassan, president of the Central Hebrew Community Council of Panama.
The meeting served to discuss various projects that may be of great interest to Israel and Panama. On this point, Perelis said: “The Hebrew community is here to support the ambassador’s efforts for the benefit of both countries. You can count on us in this sense”, he emphasized.
Ambassador Bardov also reiterated the strong ties of friendship that exist between Israel and the Jewish community, and the invaluable commitment they always give to Israel.
