On Thursday, August 5, we were pleased to welcome Itai Bardov, Ambassador of the State of Israel in Panama, to our community center.
The main purpose of this visit was to welcome the ambassador and introduce him to the leaders of the institutions of the Panamanian Jewish Congress. We took the opportunity to show him our synagogue, the community center and the KSI Museum.
The KSI welcoming committee included Martín Calp, director of Noar; Carolina Herrera, representing the KSI Brotherhood; Moisés Abadi and Milton Henríquez, former presidents of KSI; Alan Perelis, president of the Panamanian Jewish Congress; Rabbi Gustavo Kraselnik; Judith Fernández, president of the board of directors of the Isaac Rabin School; and Natán Zaidman, president of the Carlos Zelenka Lodge.
We at KSI wish Ambassador Bardov every success and reiterate our willingness to collaborate with his administration.
