Last Friday, May 14, 2021, it was with great joy that we welcomed our membership to the garage door of the community center to celebrate KSI’s 145th anniversary.
The occasion was propitious to celebrate the traditional Kabalat Shabbat, this time in person, after more than a year without holding it physically.
Joshua Henriquez, president of KSI’s Board of Directors, highlighted the value of the congregation’s founding families and their legacy, alive after more than a century.
For her part, Tania Levy, president of the KSI sorority, stressed the importance of continuity so that these 145 years continue to multiply.
