Last Tuesday, May 11, 2021, the third class of the mini-course Five questions about tefillah (prayer), co-led by Rabbi Gustavo and Morah Nurit, was held.
On this occasion, the class was oriented to answer the question “How do we pray? We analyzed how the text evolved, how was the practice of praying without having a Sidur in our hands and how we were left with some remnants of that dynamic.
The origins of the Siddur and why one should pray in Hebrew were also discussed. At the end of the class, the structure of the different daily prayers was explained.
