Last Wednesday, May 19, 2021, the KSI community gathered virtually to participate in the film forum of the week, on the Israeli film Ajami.
Synopsis:
The Ajami neighborhood in Jaffa is a melting pot of cultures and different points of view between Jews, Muslims and Christians. Looking back through different characters, we witness how untenable this situation is becoming: Nasri, a 13-year-old boy living in fear; Malek, a Palestinian refugee working illegally in Israel; Binj, a wealthy Palestinian who dreams of a bright future with his Jewish girlfriend; and Dando, a Jewish policeman obsessed with finding his missing brother. Selected by Israel as a 2010 Oscar nominee in the Foreign Language Film category.
We invite you to participate in the next film forum to be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, on the film Witness for the Prosecution.
