As every week, the congregation met virtually last Wednesday, March 10, 2021, to participate in a new edition of the film forum. On this occasion, the film discussed was the French film The Other Son.
Synopsis:
As he prepares to join the Israeli army, Joseph discovers that he is not his parents’ biological son. At birth, in the middle of the war, he was accidentally exchanged for Yacine, the baby of a Palestinian family living in the occupied territories of the West Bank. The world collapses around these two families. Rejection, doubt, loss of identity, prejudices of race and religion stand as a thorny barrier in their lives.
