Participants from the Catholic Church and Jewish communities highlighted common aspects of both celebrations. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/--ZXiwuFyNhE\/YF03OmZYtTI\/AAAAAAAAe_U\/xIcDc9xZ7I46tx3JDhdU186D2TiA9zlqgCLcBGAsYHQ\/s940\/Foto%2Bde%2BAndrea%2BCogollos.jpg\" style=\"clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"788\" data-original-width=\"940\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kolshearith.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Foto2Bde2BAndrea2BCogollos.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-4886\" width=\"320\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The<i> matzah <\/i>(unleavened bread) and wine of the <i>Pesach<\/i> meal became the host and wine of the Eucharist,&#8221; said Claudio Epelman, executive director of the CJL, to emphasize the extent to which the two religious celebrations, which will begin soon, are linked.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rabbi Marcelo Polakoff, commissioner for interreligious dialogue of the CJL, opened the meeting telling the central place that solidarity and inclusion have in <i>Pesach<\/i>: &#8220;during that night, we opened the doors twice, the first time to share the bread, and the second time for the last glass of wine, as now, we invite you to celebrate with us&#8221;. Rabbi Gustavo Kraselnik, representative of the organization for interreligious dialogue in Central America, was in charge of conducting the activity. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The word Eucharist means &#8216;Thank you&#8217;, and I want to thank you for this space. We were enriched by each other,&#8221; said Monsignor Pedro Torres, Auxiliary Bishop of Cordoba and President of the Commission for Interreligious Dialogue of the Argentine Episcopal Conference. For his part, the Bishop of David (Panama), Cardinal Jos\u00e9 Luis Lacunza, emphasized that &#8220;sometimes, due to prejudice or ignorance, we fail to perceive the connection between both traditions.
